Material Controller

**Job Description Summary**
Here at Dowty (a GE Aerospace company) we have an exciting opportunity to join our team on a 18 month fixed term contract as a Material Controller. You'll be responsible for maintaining the uninterrupted flow of work through our shop to meet the production plan and customer on time delivery. You'll facilitate resolution to any material issues preventing the plan from being met and problem solve with different departments (Operation / Materials / Customer Operations). You'll be operating within a compliant environment, while maintaining the integrity of the Business System.

**Essential Responsibilities**

+ Attend daily Materials Fulfilment meeting to review material position, kitting priority & raise any concerns that require escalation.
+ Creation of Work Orders for sub-components of assets received into the facility.
