MDA Export Control Officer

Exciting opportunity at MDA as an Export Control Officer, emphasizing compliance with trade controls in Canada and the U.S. Your expertise in regulations will be essential to our operations.
Reporting to the Manager of Trade Compliance, this role requires proactive management of export controls and permits. Candidates should have at least a two-year background in export controls along with a degree in International Trade, Commerce, or Law. You will work closely with MDA programs to ensure compliance and also support cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing export practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage applications for export permits and licenses
• Maintain compliance with ITAR/EAR and Canadian regulations
• Review Technical Assistance Agreements and export approvals
• Train MDA employees on export control policies
