We are actively seeking a Mechanic to perform mechanical repairs to vessels and maintenance of machinery at our Verreault shipyard.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will have to:
Assemble, repair and maintain various types of engines, mechanical components and propulsion systems;
Install and maintain rigid, flexible, centrifugal and hydraulic couplings;
Perform basic machining and drilling and erect scaffold structures;
Calculate the equivalence between the English and metric systems;
Determine tool and equipment requirements according to work to be done;
Position chain hoists and lifting eyes for safe lifting;
