Mechanical Design Engineer

Summary: The Engineer – Mechanical Design will be responsible for carrying out the design of new development by coordinating with the Mechanical team & drive the project. Understand, analyse and coordinate with project team members to drive the project & coordinate with cross function teams to bring design to manufacture & design to cost. Core Responsibilities: To work independently and carryout mechanical design calculations To create mechanical drawings in 2D/3D Creo To support Multiphysics team with 3D models requirement for projects / NPDs To understand the customer specification requirement and select/build the suitable alternators To create specification for material, process, testing To work on cost reduction and VAVE of the product To support Sourcing, MED, Production, QA, customer support Key deliverables: Mechanical Design – Concept creation & Drawings GATE deliverables by the team Designs with best in class with cost & time in consideration Handle relevant customer requireme...
