Role Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in construction and basic design development phase. Preparation of equipment, technical specifications, general arrangement, detailed equipment compartment layouts, space coordination and equipment list.
- Review all mechanical equipment, vendor’s proposals for technical accuracy and constructability. Understand sizing of equipment and prepare equipment specification.
- Prepare working drawings, establish design criteria standards specification and mechanical construction guideline drawings.
- Develop and check an equipment’s handing study for marine spaces and decks.
- Check submittals and prepare the installation or construction drawings when needed.
- Perform site visits to solve engineering problems when required to determine existing conditions or verify new construction.
