About the Role

The Associate Analyst – Medical Coding will transform healthcare diagnoses, procedures, and services into universal codes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with insurance guidelines.

• Apply strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Ensure accurate ICD-10 coding and sequencing
• Review patient history and apply global modifiers
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient information
• Actively contribute to team discussions and uphold customer service standards.
• Certification in medical coding (AAPC or AHIMA: CPC, CGSC, COC) (Ideal)
• Understanding of US healthcare and HIPAA
• Experience with RCM software
• Minimum 1 year of medical coding/denial experience or US Healthcare
