KRCR has an exciting opportunity to join the #1 news team in Northern California as a Meteorologist / MMJ. This unique hybrid role presents the weather forecast on weekends and reports in the field 3 days a week.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Produce and present weather reports that are engaging and impactful to viewers
+ Create weathercasts and other content for our broadcast, digital, and social platforms
+ Research, write, and deliver weather stories in a clear and concise manner
+ Pitch story ideas, develop contacts, and report 3 days a week
+ Work with the weather team. managers, and producers to determine relevant weather content in breaking and everyday situations
+ Fill-in coverage for morning and evening meteorologists
+ Take part in promotional station opportunities, including public appearances
