Millwright

Seeking a skilled Millwright with experience in asphalt and bitumen processing equipment. Responsibilities include planning, maintenance, repairs, and optimisation of asphalt plants, including mechanical, electrical, welding, and lathe work, to ensure reliable plant performance and operational compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspect, service and repair asphalt plant equipment (pumps, compressors, gearboxes, screw conveyors). Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime. Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning and lubrication. Maintain and troubleshoot motors, VSDs and electrical circuits. Install, repair and align motor-driven systems. Fabricate components using lathes, milling and line boring machines• Carry out welding and fabrication repairs/modifications. Read and interpret technical, electrical and pneumatic drawings• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts control.
