Mobile Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

Equans is looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week. The working hours are as follows: Week 1 Monday‑Friday 6am‑2pm & Week 2 Monday‑Friday 10am‑6pm. There is also an on‑call rota. Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault‑find and repair complex electrical systems in line with legislation, standards and procedures
• Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across all electrical building services to agreed specifications and timeframes
• Carry out minor electrical installations, upgrades and adaptation works
• Respond quickly to reactive maintenance tasks to minimise disruption and contract penalties, including work on emergency lighting, distribution boards and other commercial electrical equipment
