Moulding Tooling Engineer

Job Responsibilities 1. Tooling Design & Development Design and develop injection molds (multi-cavity, hot runner, 3-plate molds) Define gating, cooling, venting, and material selection Review mold flow analysis and improve tooling performance Ensure tooling meets production capacity and cycle time targets 2. Tooling Validation & Testing Support mold trials (T0, T1, T2) Perform FAI, PPAP, Cp/Cpk, and DOE activities Troubleshoot tooling issues such as flash, short shot, warpage, and sink marks 3. Manufacturing Support Provide hands-on support to solve production issues Improve cycle time, yield, and mold performance Conduct root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) 4. Supplier Management Work with toolmakers and suppliers to review designs and fabrication Ensure tooling quality, cost, and delivery targets are met 5.
