Role Description

MQ admin role
Dublin
Install, configure, upgrade, and administer MQ queue managers on Linux/Unix.
Manage queues, channels, listeners, clustering, and high availability setups.
Implement and maintain MQ security (TLS, certificates, CHLAUTH).
Monitor and troubleshoot channel failures, queue depth issues, and performance problems.
Perform capacity planning, DR testing, and platform automation.
Support event broker platforms (, Kafka/Solace) from an infrastructure perspective.
Define and enforce messaging platform standards and operational best practices.
Required Skills
6- 8+ years MQ administration (distributed environments).
Strong knowledge of MQ clustering, security, and performance tuning.
Experience with Linux, scripting/automation (Shell/Ansible/Python).
Familiarity with event-driven platforms or event brokers.
