Municipal Engineer / Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

CBCL Limited is hiring a Municipal Engineer / Engineer-in-Training (EIT) for the Municipal Department in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and planning of civil infrastructure projects, including water distribution, wastewater collection and pumping, sanitary sewer systems, and stormwater management facilities.
• Assist in developing detailed design drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Work alongside senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to refine design concepts, perform engineering calculations, and ensure project specifications meet client needs and regulatory standards.
• Participate in site visits and fieldwork, collecting essential data for infrastructure investigations, observing construction activities, and supporting resident observation duties.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and tender documents.
