Natural and Applied Sciences Program Officer

The Natural and Applied Sciences Program Officer will deliver hands‑on STEM learning experiences for elementary students in Horizon Summer School. Responsibilities include preparing daily activity plans in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics; guiding students through age‑appropriate experiments; supervising small‑group challenges; and promoting curiosity, problem solving, and safe exploration.

The participant will demonstrate basic STEM concepts, lead interactive activities such as coding games, engineering builds, and scientific observation exercises, and adapt instruction for learners at different levels. They will support classroom management, assist with transitions between activities, collaborate with other instructors, and reinforce program values of teamwork, confidence, and creativity.
