Network Architect

The Position: Network Architect CANARIE has an immediate opening for Network Architect. The Network Architect will be accountable for contributing to the implementation, operation, and ongoing support of CANARIE’s production network infrastructure.

This is a new full-time, permanent position that reports to CANARIE’s Senior Manager, Network.

The salary range for this role is between $125,000 to $162,000.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the CANARIE Network with a focus on responsiveness and reliability

Develop and maintain documentation, including requirements, and specifications

Guide designs for technical soundness, and make key infrastructure decisions

Guide network architecture and equipment development

Drive deployment of advanced network services and technologies

Collaborate with network architects, software developers, and security professionals
