Network Specialist

A field engineer is required to support the following activities.

Required Materials

• PuTTY installed
• Microsoft Teams installed
• Two console cables from different vendors
• Two units
• Capacity not to exceed 16 GB
• Internet access for laptop connectivity (Recommend 2 from different carriers)
• Two CAT6 cables, 7 feet each

Scope of Activities

Field Technician Arrival

• The technician must arrive one hour prior to the scheduled start time.
• The site contact will escort the technician to the Network/MDF room.

Remote Access Setup (approximately 30 minutes)

• Join the Microsoft Teams call.
• Provide remote access to the HCL engineer using the technician’s laptop and mobile hotspot.

Primary Router Upgrade (approximately 1.5–2 hours)
