Operations Manager

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Operations Manager for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.

Purpose of role

Under the direction of The Director, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the full management function of the overall performance of the team (10 plus staff) in line with key performance requirements of the department.

This is a hands on managerial role that requires the individual to both manage and monitor output and deliverables but also take an active involvement to support the managers of each department to ensure operational success.

Responsibilities:-

* Day to day operational requirement for Cross Border; Ecommerce and EU pallet groupage department and warehouse operations

* Supporting the team at an Operational Level, with escalation of queries both with staff and with service providers.
