Optical Engineer II

We are looking for an Optical Engineer II to join our global R&D team in Oulu. You will play a vital role in the design and manufacturing of highly advanced 3D sensors, working on everything from initial imaging and illumination concepts to mass-production-ready lens solutions.

You will report to the Optics Engineering Team Lead in Finland and collaborate with a world-class team of scientists and engineers to deliver high-performance optical engines that power industrial automation globally; you will:

+ Design & Analysis: Perform detailed optical design for imaging and illumination systems, ensuring they meet rigorous performance specifications.

+ Custom Solutions: Develop lens solutions tailored for mass production, utilizing state-of-the-art optical and opto-mechanical technologies.

+ Production Readiness: Generate complete tolerance sets and develop assembly and test strategies to support prototyping and large-scale manufacturing.
