Optical Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Optical & Network Engineer with strong expertise in DWDM/CWDM technologies, fiber optics, and carrier‑grade networking platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in optical transport systems, OTDR testing, and IP networking, and will work closely with carriers to troubleshoot and resolve fiber and network issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot DWDM/CWDM optical transport networks
• Work with optical amplifiers, multiplexers, transponders, and fiber‑optic infrastructure
• Perform OTDR testing to analyze span loss, fiber bends, and dark fiber degradation
• Coordinate with telecom carriers to identify and remediate dark fiber issues
• Configure and support carrier‑grade optical platforms
• Support IP routing and Ethernet-based data center fabrics
