Oracle Database Administrator

At EXL We're seeking a Principal Database Engineer for the below role. ***This position requires 2-3 days per week in office in Mexico City.

As a Principal Database Engineer, you will be working with the Engineering, Operations, and Data teams to develop, manage, govern, and maintain Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS Documentdb databases. The position requires thorough working knowledge of the Oracle internals, AWS RDS (Oracle) Internals, SQL performance, database performance, capacity planning, installation, integration, configuration, database design, migration, security, troubleshooting, upgrades, refreshes and backup & recovery. You will be working closely with the Engineering, DevOps and infrastructure teams in maintaining a reliable environment around systems hardware and operating systems server software.
