Job Title: Packaging Operator
Location: Lakewood, New Jersey
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $22.50/hr
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Hours: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm

Packaging Operator Responsibilities:


+ Operate manual or semiautomatic systems processing chemical substances into industrial or consumer products such as sealants, adhesives, mortars, primers, and intermediates.

+ Load specified amounts of solid materials into heating/cooling vessels or blending tanks and set controls in specified sequences to start automatic feed.

+ Monitor chemical reactions, gauges, signals, and recorders; receive notifications to make operating adjustments.

+ Draw samples for quality control analysis and perform chemical tests/QC checks to ensure product conforms to specifications using standard test equipment, materials, and procedures.
