Role Description

                    SUMMARY BGIS at Parc Downsview Park is hiring Park Landscaper from Spring 2026 to Spring 2027. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have a passion for working outdoors, an ability to work in a team environment, and a strong interest in the development and maintenance of green spaces.
 KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Horticulture
Maintain and install ornamental gardens and seasonal planters, which include watering, weeding, deadheading, and pruning.
Assist natural areas restoration projects and perennial garden and shrub bed maintenance.
Hardscape maintenance including interlock repair and adjustments, sign installation and the like.
Park sanitation, including litter and waste collection.
Provide staff support for outdoor events and stewardship activities.
Additional tasks in other areas of park operations like turf care, urban arboriculture & forestry, park infrastructure and irrigation maintenance.
