Job Description: Lead – Payroll

Reports To: AVP - Payroll
Role Objective
We are seeking a seasoned Lead - Payroll to lead our end-to-end payroll function. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, statutory compliance, and process efficiency for a large, multi-location workforce.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Payroll Leadership
Direct the monthly payroll cycle for a workforce of 1,000+ employees, ensuring 100% accuracy in salary registers, payments and deductions.
Execute payroll using Darwinbox.
Oversee high-volume bank disbursements and file uploads, ensuring zero-error payout execution.
Lead the Full & Final (F&F) settlement process, including salary rejections and re-processing.
2. Statutory Compliance & Taxation
Ensure absolute adherence to all labor laws, including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and Gratuity.
