Position Summary 

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for effectively performing payroll functions, including being liaison with third party payroll processing partner, benefit deduction processing, company/regulatory reporting, union reporting for the Company. The ideal candidate will have experience with union agreements and a comprehensive understanding of Canadian payroll regulations.

Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and troubleshooting.

Support full-cycle in-house biweekly payrolls, including coverage for other team members during vacation.

Process payroll journal entries and reconcile accounts related to Canadian entities.

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Canadian laws and regulations.
