Role Description

My client is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and well-established company East of Cork City. The successful candidate will take ownership of the end-to-end weekly payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance with current legislation, and a high level of service to employees across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end weekly payroll, including ERR and auto-enrolment, in conjunction with HR and Accounts
  • Review, validate and reconcile employee timesheets to ensure accurate payments
  • Prepare and post wages journals accurately to the accounting system
  • Manage and resolve day-to-day payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with employees, HR and Production to ensure payroll records are maintained and updated in line with legislation and internal procedures
