Pedestrian Safety Analysis Engineer

Area of Responsibility:

The CAE Engineer will be responsible for carrying out Pedestrian head and leg impact analysis and model build. He will be responsible for summarizing results and feedback conclusions to customers in an efficient manner.

Job Requirements:

• Creation of CAE Models [System level / BIW / Full Vehicle].
• Able to model/debug Pedestrian protection models using Primer.
• Able to integrate head and leg form and exterior trims into the vehicle environment.
• Able to run Ped pro analysis in LSDYNA, summarize results and feedback conclusions to customers in an efficient manner.
• Good knowledge of fundamental physics and impact kinematics relevant to pedestrian injury mechanisms.
• Conversant with global regulatory and non-regulatory norms for crash and safety.
• Able to work effectively with design teams to develop solutions within defined deadlines and time constraints.
