We are looking for an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The primary responsibility of the Phlebotomist is to accurately collect blood samples from patients for testing. This includes preparing the patient, locating veins, drawing blood, labeling specimens, and entering information into the laboratory information system. The Phlebotomist also ensures that all safety protocols are followed and that patient privacy is maintained.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent as well as experience in phlebotomy or related field. The candidate must also demonstrate an understanding of safety protocols, universal precautions, medical terminology, infection control practices, and laboratory procedures.
