Physical Design Engineer

As a physical design/implementation engineer, you will contribute to the backend design of high performance computing sub-system, such as CPU, NPU, GPU, CMN etc. The products will widely cover server, smartphone, automotive and cloud technology, etc. Your responsibilities will be related, but not limited to

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and implementation of the leading edge, back-end ASIC design flow
• Participate in the research of design methodology to improve automation and productivity

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge and experience in Physical Design of blocks
• Experience in Clock/Power distribution, P&R, Timing Closure, RC Extraction, and verification on advanced nodes
• Expertise in scripting languages such as, shell, Perl, Tcl, etc.
• Familiar with mainstream EDA tools: Cadence, Synopsys and Mentor
• Able to consider impact on design decisions
