Platform & Services is seeking a Pipefitter. The Pipe Shop Mechanic performs a variety of skilled mechanical duties involving general fitting piping systems on vessels, burning/brazing, testing and sketching piping systems.

The Mechanic operates equipment for assembly and installation; performs preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery; records work performed and follows specified safety policies and procedure.

+ Laying out, presenting, fitting, and installing pipe, tubing, and related equipment. This includes installing valves, hangers, and supports.
+ Cutting, threading, and bending pipes to specific lengths and angles using tools like pipe cutters, threading machines, and torches.
+ Connecting pipes using various techniques, including welding, soldering, brazing, and threading.
