Role Description

The Planner III, Submarine Structure is responsible for communicating to key stakeholders, gathering project requirements, preparing estimates, and ensuring compliance. This position deals with complex specifications, supplied by the customer through either Particularized Maintenance Repair Specifications (PMRS), Engineering Changes (ECs) or scope derived in execution, observations, material requirements, and scheduling issues. The position would ideally suit someone from a Steel Fabrication or Welding background.

This position prepares all production work instructions ensuring all relevant standards (C-23 SUB SAFE / ISO / NES / SSPS) are incorporated. Planning and estimating requires a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under time constraints. This role reports directly to the Senior Planner of the Structure Cell at Victoria Shipyards.
