About the Role

We are looking for a Plant Operator to join our clients highways team. You will help maintain roads and footpaths, operate machinery, and support construction and maintenance work across Leicestershire (and occasionally nearby areas).

You’ll work as part of a team but should be comfortable working independently day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate heavy machinery such as tractors, roadmenders, and horticultural equipment

* Work safely on public roads, following traffic management rules

* Carry out general highway maintenance (e.g. grass cutting, hedge trimming, road repairs)

* Follow health and safety procedures at all times

* Keep training records up to date

* Support other tasks as required by your manager

* Promote equality and fair treatment for everyone
