Role Description
Staffmax is currently hiring a Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator for one of our esteemed clients in Winnipeg. This is a full-time, permanent position starting immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Primarily set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines that process plastic compounds through dies to create continuous plastic products such as profiles, pipes, sheets, or films
Change dies for production changes and ensure proper machine setup
Monitor material quality and perform regular quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools
Perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments as needed
Maintain continuous machine operation in a 24/7 production environment
Lift materials up to 50 lbs as required
Shift & Compensation:
