Platform Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Platform Engineering Specialist, you will design, build, and maintain secure, automated, and compliant platform capabilities. You will ensure that Azure and Kubernetes environments are secure by design, automation-driven, and ready for accredited operational use. In this role, you will support containerised applications and modular deployable systems. Your focus will be maintaining platform availability and resilience while embedding integrity and compliance controls into the build and deployment processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engineer and maintain secure Azure environments for development and operational workloads.
• Design and operate Kubernetes platforms for containerised workloads and artefact repositories.
• Implement platform guardrails, lifecycle controls, and runtime security policies.
• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines supporting infrastructure‑as‑code and configuration‑as‑code practices.
