Pre-Construction Manager

Orion Group is supporting a successful and long established construction client to source a Pre-Construction Project Manager to add to there North East Scotland based team.

As the Project manager you will work closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor, providing the necessary input to allow the Quantity Surveyor to report on the current and projected financial status of the project.  Helping develop the projects main logic of works programme, ensure that no work commences on site until health and safety policy and the relevant construction phase plan is in place.

Develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments together with the Safety Plan and to observe the requirement of the CDM Regulations in the status of Principal Contractor
Provide leadership and support to all Employees
Manage labour and maintain high productivity
Expedite materials and information release from design team
Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Procedure and Manual
