Principal Software Developer – Video Division (Vancouver, BC) Responsibilities

Drive technical leadership and architectural governance across the Video Division. Translate complex business objectives and product requirements into scalable, reliable system architectures. Partner with Product Management, Security, and Engineering leadership to evaluate technical trade‑offs and mitigate long‑term systemic risks. Define the long‑term technical vision and architectural roadmap for next‑generation cloud and on‑premise streaming platforms. Provide end‑to‑end software solutions encompassing design, architecture, implementation, maintenance, and user support. Own systemic non‑functional requirements, including scalability, high availability, ultra‑low‑latency media delivery, and hardware‑software isolation.
