Role Description
Position Summary
The Adams State University Prison Education Program (PEP) is seeking qualified and experienced instructors to design and teach undergraduate courses for its national correspondence program serving incarcerated persons throughout the United States. These courses are delivered via printed study guides and supplemented by assigned readings. Exams will be administered by preapproved proctors, and all student work submitted through standard mail. Instructors are responsible for maintaining digital gradebooks and collaborating regularly with PEP staff to issue grades and support other administrative processes. Whenever possible instructors are encouraged to use Open Educational Resources (OER) in course development rather than traditional textbooks.
