Atlantic Operations is a wholly owned subsidiary of St Barbara Limited, an ASX listed gold producer and explorer with mining assets in Canada and Australia.

We are currently seeking a Process Control Engineer to support our Atlantic Operations. This role is a full time, max-term position, reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor and will be based at our Touquoy mine site located approximately 1-hour northeast of Halifax, near Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.

The Opportunity:

Apply all applicable regulations, codes and corporate/site standards to all maintenance activities

Identify safety issues and encourage a site safe work culture with safety being top priority

Program PLC’s and SCADA/HMI’s and modify the automated plant process as required

Provide technical specifications and drawings to contractors and our workforce
