In our high-tech small production runs, single part and prototype production, you will support us in the high-precision manufacture of optical components, assemblies and systems made of glass, glass ceramics and ceramics.
Role and responsibilities
As a Process Engineer, you take technical responsibility for defined laser structuring processes or subprocesses in series production. Your role is focused on process stability, continuous improvement, and the reliable transfer of technologies into manufacturing. Specifically, this means:
Process ownership: Independently manage assigned laser structuring processes; support additional processes with senior engineers or line management.
Monitoring & CI: Monitor processes using Lean/Six Sigma (e.g. SPC) and drive KVP to improve yield, quality, cost, and cycle time.
