Process Engineer (Plastic Manufacturing Sector)

Do you have at least 3 years of hands-on Plastic / Flexible Packaging manufacturing experience? Candidates must hold a degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and be registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA. Our plastic manufacturing client is looking for a technical minded Process Engineer to join their team in SE Calgary! The Process Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager, and has functional responsibility to provide technical assistance to the flexible packaging manufacturing plant operations in the form of process improvement, cost reduction, safety enhancement, and efficiency. Identifies, develops, and manages process improvement projects specifically aimed at improving operational efficiencies (waste, productivity, costs).
