Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and fault find on plant instrumentation e.g. PLC, Drives, etc.
• Ensure that all projects and modifications meet required specifications and deadlines by managing projects and modifications, adjudicating quotes, and ensuring compliance with required specifications and OSHAct.
• Become an integral part of any future planning on the site, new technology of present plant and processes by recommending methods that will improve the end product, justifying the purchase of the best equipment to do the job and determining the life span of electronic equipment and plans for replacement.
• Understand and own plant classifications by checking existing systems, classifying new equipment, and re-classifying own equipment when required, in order to focus maintenance on more critical equipment and have the correct spares and stock levels.
