Process Operator

About the role

Greenhills Operations produces upwards of 5.5Mt per year of high‑quality steelmaking coal through the processing plant. This is a unique opportunity to join directly into a full‑time role in the Greenhills Processing Plant. Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the Process Operator is responsible for performing a variety of duties including physical labour, equipment operation, process troubleshooting/optimization, mechanical inspections, and minor repair work. The position is site‑based at our operations in the Elk Valley. Reliable commuting to or relocation near Sparwood, B.C. is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
• Operate fixed plant processing circuits, including coarse and fine coal recovery circuits, mechanical and evaporative dewatering operations, and clean coal loadout operations
