Processing Technician 2 (Plating)

Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Processing Technician to operate all equipment to perform heat treating, plating, wastewater treatment, or waste oil treatment processes. Perform quality checks and complete production work orders and/or related documents. When performing any tasks involving hazardous chemicals or hazardous waste, follow the regulations and requirements of SPCC Plan, RCRA regulations and operating procedures involving hazardous chemicals outlined in company documents.

Responsibilities

+ Operate equipment and perform duties as related to functional area of assignment and be familiar with safety, environmental, and emergency procedures for equipment in that functional area.

+ Operate mechanical and electro-plating equipment, and other metal finishing processes, and be familiar with plating methods and metal finishing procedures.

+ Must be able to read charts and graphs and follow instructions closely.
