Product Owner to Data & Analytics

Overview

We're an award-winning insurance company looking for a Product Owner who owns what data gets built, how it's modelled, and whether it matches the business needs. The role focuses on overseeing data points our systems already produce and connecting them to business problems that remain unresolved. The position is with Nordea Life & Pension Finland, a Finnish life insurance company within the Nordea Group.

The role is based in Kaisaniemi, Helsinki. Our data products serve the business end-to-end: policy and claims data, customer analytics, investment data, actuarial reports, and regulatory submissions.

You will work across two capabilities: Analytics (data scientist and analyst) and Data engineering (1 on-site data engineer and 4 offshore consultants). You will be the single owner across both areas, making implementation calls, catching data quality issues, and setting standards for others to follow.
