Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversees and organizes all operational activities during normal production for the responsible area.
• Leads all team members to implement production safely, efficiently, and accurately based on safety regulations, standard operating procedures, checklists, quality standards, production plans, and related documents.
• Assists with the implementation of lean methodology and health, safety & environment practices.
• Coordinates maintenance issues with the maintenance department and oversees safety during maintenance when necessary.
• Works with other personnel to complete equipment isolation, flushing, replacement, inspection, commissioning, and related activities.
• Communicates with team members on all issues.
• Provides performance evaluation input to the supervisor.
• May serve as backup for positions in a shift group.
