Program Coordinator - YWCA Youth Homes

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Youth Homes Team and youth to provide guidance and support to improve the youth's quality of life.
• Develop and provide programming in life skills and cultural practices.
• Maintain a clean and secure facility and aid the public and residents when necessary.
• Develop programming specifically geared to young mothers with babies, life skills, and cultural practices.
• Assist in developing case plans for youth residents.
• Provide support, referrals, and advocacy for the clients.
• Liaise with the Ministry of Social Services.
• Be available for an online call rotation.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education and/or previous experience working with youth.
• Early childhood development education or experience.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about cultural traditions, teachings and knowledge.
