The Disability Rights Team (DRT) sits in the newly established Proactive and Preventive Monitoring and Interventions group, focussed on representing international convention-based monitoring obligations with international frameworks, monitoring, stakeholder engagement and reporting requirements. DRT leads the Ombudsmen's Independent Monitoring Mechanism (IMM) work under the Disability Convention.
