Project Controls Specialist

Overview

As a Project Controls Specialist (Project Services Specialist) with Shell Canada’s Project Services Team, you’ll deliver robust cost management, forecasting and performance insight, supporting integrated planning and schedule controls across our Shales and CCS projects portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery and maintenance of realistic plans and cost controls aligned to project objectives and approved baselines.
• Implement and maintain Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) following Shell’s Cost Management Framework, including budget population, cost tracking, and change control.
• Prepare and report cost forecasts, commitments and accruals in line with Shell’s financial cycles and month‑end reporting.
• Monitor cost trends and variances, recommend corrective actions and maintain financial alignment.
