Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer
Job Description
This position involves technical leadership and execution of new product development programs in accordance with customer technical requirements and procurement specifications. You will work closely with the internal product development team to coordinate all phases of new product development.
Responsibilities

+ Provide technical leadership and execution of new product development programs.

+ Coordinate technical proposals, design of customer-deliverable hardware, and technical support of development part fabrication.

+ Lead qualification testing and support certification and Entry-into-Service (EIS), as well as sustaining engineering efforts.

+ Lead small, cross-functional teams, typically co-located.

+ Maintain and develop knowledge of state-of-the-art engineering disciplines, processes, and tools.
