Project Engineer

Job Purpose/Summary:

• Lead the construction team and manage the day to day work on site

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with the main contractor on site for daily activity
2. Supervise and monitor the site labor force
3. Oversee the storage and use of materials delivered on site
4. Efficiently organize the plant , materials deliveries and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
5. Ensure all materials used and work performed are as per the specifications and drawings
6. Ensure only current shop drawings are used and work is executed as per these shop drawings
7. Ensure that all quality control forms are filled out and records are managed as per the Project Quality Plan
8. Oversee health and safety matters on site
9. Resolve any small technical difficulties or other problems that may arise on a daily basis
