Project Engineer - Substations

Your Opportunity Stantec’s Western Canadian Power Delivery team is offering opportunities for Project Engineers to work on HV/EHV AC and DC substation projects across North America. Opportunities exist across our western Canadian offices.

Your Key Responsibilities

Work closely with Project Managers to manage the scope, schedule, and cost of projects and provide technical oversight.

Identify and manage project technical risks.

Act as project technical lead to collaborate with internal engineering teams, clients, and third party stakeholders.

Lead and coordinate with internal engineering teams to complete tasks such as reviewing vendor drawings of equipment, inter-disciplinary reviews of deliverables, maintaining and updating project technical documents of record, internal QA, and coordinating resolution of complex technical challenges.
