Project Engineering Lead

Job Overview

We are actively recruiting motivated Project Engineering Leads (PEL's) for an opportunity to work at the forefront of UK defence engineering within our Integrated Project Team (IPT) at Leonardo in Bristol.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering aspects of the project, ensuring technical quality, schedule and budget.
• Manage cross-site, multi-disciplined engineering teams, ensuring roles are clearly defined.
• Create a positive working relationship with customers and partners to deliver project capability.
• Establish and maintain good lines of communication internally across the Engineering IPT, with the IPT lead, Project Manager and Functional Heads.
• Work closely with the Systems Design Authority to keep them fully informed on technical progress, risk and mitigation strategies.
